Luckily for me, my neighbors to the West have a few beautiful palms. Whenever the light is right, I sketch out something quickly and take some reference photos for the look of the clouds. This oil on linen panel is just that! I'm trying to get that warm "late light" and making sure the shadows don't get too dark...at least that was the intention.
